Welcome to my blog,"One Foot in the Furrow"
You can take a girl from the farm but THE FARM FROM THE GIRL?
I still use 'country sayings'! I'm sorta' shy. One foot scratching the ground with downcast eyes. Prairie Lass
SPRING OF 2020 IS MEMORABLE Not sure of the timeline but some heard December, 2019 from China, others said January, 2020, and still others said February BUT we're all one in the world May, 2020 with the Pandemic... Corolla Virus also known as (aka) Corvid-19, not exactly rushing around us but in charge of how we live our lives for the near future. Someone suggested on Facebook I plant little green onion bulbs 2 meters apart. Well, I rolled my eyes at THAT piece of advice! Practically slobbering at the thought of picking green onions I planted one row about 4 inches apart and none of them have far to shake the dirt from their little bulbs and enjoy the sunshine I wish for them and the rain that was falling gently as I closed my curtains. In this dear country it can change to snow with little or no notice... even in May!
Starting school is not easy whether elementary school, post secondary or universary. Below are students in first class towards degree in psychology to help others. Can you relate? : Psychiatric Students The aspiring psychiatrists were attending their first class on emotional extremes. "Just to establish some parameters," said the professor to the student from Saskatchewan, Canada, "What is the opposite of joy?" "Sadness," said the student. "And the opposite of depression?" he asked the young lady from Vancouver, B.C., Canada. "Elation," said she. "And you sir," he said to the young man from Alberta, Canada, "how about the opposite of woe?" The Albertan replied, "Sir, I believe that would be giddy-up." All changed to CANADA instead of USA! EITHER WORKS! LOL Song from YOU TUBE, "BOREDOM AND JOY" If I need permission...
