BANANA BREAD CUPCAKES!

BANANA BREAD RECIPE BY BETH ALLISON MOSS  Mix wet ingredients: 1/2 cup butter,  1 cup brown sugar,   3 eggs,  3 crushed ripe bananas, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp. soda (dissolve in tsp. water) Mix dry ingredients: 2 cups of flour (try one cup einkorn flour and one cup white flour),   1/2 tsp baking powder,  1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, (optional 1/2 cup walnuts)  Preheat oven to 350 degrees. After mixing wet ingredients add the mixed dry ingredients about one third at a time until just gathered together. Place a spoonful of the batter in each cupcake container. Bake about 10 - 15 minutes until lightly brown. They are done when a toothpick comes out clean. BANANA CUPCAKES!! Choice - either ice, frost, or slice and add butter! Easier to handle! Winter Camps for Some Saskatchewan Pioneers

So cold your hair and bedclothes are frozen to the walls of the log cabin you built last summer. Beds were moved from walls.  Dad stoked the fire with wood for heat. It was  a survival of the fittest! Living on the "bald" prairie was just about impossible in the late 1800's and early 1900's.  People did what they had to do to survive. They would move for the winter to the wooded hills or Moose Mountains north of Manor, Carlyle, Arcola, Kisbey or from other places south of what are called mountains. They moved to communal areas in those hills where there was plenty of wood from trees for heat and cooking and a source of water from sloughs. They moved to be near one another for sociability. After the war ended she and a friend hitch hiked all over the US, staying in YWCAs with never a problem." subsequently he added, "My mother died today. She was a decent, generous person. OH MY GOODNESS! "HALLOWEEN 2014 IS OVER?" WHA' HAPPENED? One thing happened; Technical troubles. I blame it on 'technical troubles.' Yessiree! Oh, and "yours truly," that's me, is a BIG PART of what happened. I CAUSED the "technical troubles" I've been trying to COPY AND PASTE Goulee Ghost and little Golly Ghost. Had lots of technical trouble AND WE'VE ALL MISSED HALLOWEEN 2014! DRAT IT ALL! HEY! IT'S OKAY! NEXT HALLOWEEN HE'LL BE READY!! (LOL?)
